An ongoing discussion
dedicated to exploring those attributes which best help a society

pursuit of positive satisfaction for all utilizing freedom and security, being fair
and reasonable, maximizing education,
personal responsibility, true equality of opportunity, encouraging
positive values, volunteerism and altruism for the greatest amount
of benefit to society.

Periodically
we gather to socialize
in person, have some fun
and discuss issues and ideas that affect the quality of the society
and world we live in, exploring ways to make a positive difference
in life. Christopher
sings some of his original songs as well. All views and opinions are welcome as long as they
are discussed in a respectful manner.
 When
you are free to share your ideas and enjoy listening to others,
you are exercising the very freedoms this country was founded upon.
Come and bring your perspective and your respect for others who
may differ to see what we can learn by listening to each other.

Attendees:
People who care or want to learn about making a positive difference
in the world: women and men, young professionals of a variety of
ages, backgrounds, cultures, singles, writers, painters, graphic
artists, college students and grads, people from all over the world
and the U.S.A., mothers and fathers, new and old parents, small
business owners, corporate and political types, professors and
teachers, lawyers, doctors, accountants, financial people, those who
believe in various religions as well as some who aren't sure, those
who recently relocated, received a promotion or got a new job and
more!
Mixing it all together is exciting and energizing, sometimes a challenge
at first, but almost always rewarding! Ideas are exchanged,
new friendships are made and
it's actually fascinating to see how different people get to
know about people they might not otherwise speak to if not for this
kind of group!
Who: Christopher,
is a Thinker, Singer and Songwriter who has spent his life
relentlessly learning, exploring and educating himself and others as
to the true meaning of life and the pursuit of positive satisfaction
for all. His goals are to entertain, educate, listen and find
ways to solve important problems through enlightened, respectful
exploration of issues. He is also a performing
singer/songwriter interested in building positive communities and
sharing ideas about issues that affect the quality of our society
and the people in it. Come and join in! Help make the world a better
place! Learn how to Think and use your mind and make a
difference in a fun, social setting!
Christopher,
Philosopher hosts, moderates and practices his unique style of participatory
pop-philosophy craft. Tackling topics of interest both general and
personal and open to any and all who wish to come participate
or even just listen. The only requirement is mutual respect for
others. This is a thoughtful, civilized social atmosphere and learning
experience. Not a place for ranting, name-calling or negative behaviours.
Why:
Life is a gift, but life is short. Sometimes our society and
popular culture can seem to focus only on the most negative aspects
of humanity. This movement seeks to be a fun, positive, intelligent
gathering for
discussion and reflection of values with an eye towards ideas that
can help address issues and begin to solve problems by bringing
people together rather than ripping them apart. An opportunity for
people from all stations in life to rub shoulders and share their
opinions in order to gain perspective, better understand each other
and practice how people can work together for a better tomorrow
without necessarily agreeing on everything.
A celebration of the spirit of the Founding Fathers of America where
people's ideas can flow freely in a nation founded on the principles
of freedom, justice and trust in God (written on our money).
An opportunity to learn, improve and educate in a gathering of all
sorts of people who have an interest in turning their brains ON instead of off.
Come join us with a good attitude to both share and learn, or just come to listen!
